When Ac supply to the stater ,
A crecter a rotating magnetic field imrial the motor Due to the magnetic and e.m.f induced in the rotor when three in e.m.f in rotor the motor will not wale an guch.We have to driving e..f to Zero so that rotor in short circuited so the induction motor vale 1 : 1  strans - former in witch 2 induced in short circuit
